Obituary

Patricia Ann Dodd was born May 4, 1939 to Delbert Eugene and Charlene Elmira (Myres) Herren in Paso Robles, California. Pat left this life on April 22, 2007 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years, 11 months, and 18 days.

Pat attended Crescent Elementary and graduated from Crescent High School in 1957. Later that same year, Pat Herren married Clarence Alva Dodd on September 14, 1957 at her parents home in Crescent, Oklahoma. To this union two sons were born; Jeffrey Myrel and David RonDel.

Pat and Clarence lived in various cities throughout their almost 50 years of marriage; Kansas City, MO, Crescent, Kingfisher, Altus, Norman, Lawton, back to Norman and Woodward, OK before moving to Arnett in 1974 and to Shattuck in 1992, where they currently made their home.

Pat was a homemaker taking pride in her homes and always enjoyed decorating them using her artistic and organizational abilities. However, her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy and she loved them very much. She was quiet, yet the strength of her family, and supported her husband in all of his many business ventures.

She was preceded in death by her parents Delbert and Charlene Herren.

Pat is survived by her husband, Clarence of Shattuck; her sons, Jeff Dodd of Enid and David Dodd and wife Diane of Arnett; by two grandchildren, Danielle and David Dodd of Arnett; by brother Jerry Herren and wife Cynthia of Hennessey, OK; by nephews, Donnie Herren and wife Michelle of Wichita, KS and Chris Herren of Stillwater, OK; by niece, Melissa Buller and husband Cory of Hennessey, OK; by other family and many, many friends.
