Patricia Leah Kester, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on April 7, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on July 12, 1968, in Mooreland, Oklahoma, to Janet Mann. Patricia, known affectionately as Trish, led a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication to her family and community.

Growing up in Arnett, Oklahoma, Trish attended elementary school before marrying Raymon Medrano in 1984. The couple moved to Hollis, Oklahoma, where Trish graduated with the Class of 1986. Together, they were blessed with three children, Crystal, Marquita, and Montana. Trish pursued her passion for hairstyling, graduating from beauty school in Woodward, Oklahoma, in 1988.

In 1993, Trish returned to Arnett to raise her family, later marrying Cliff Kester in 2012 until his passing. She shared her life with her companion, Danny Moore, residing in Calumet, Oklahoma, from 2018 onwards.

Trish was not only a skilled hairstylist but also had a heart for serving others, working as a waitress and touching countless lives with her warmth and kindness. She found joy in sewing, traveling, attending hair conventions, and spending cherished moments with her family and friends.

A faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Arnett, Trish found solace and strength in her faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Mann; daughter, Marquita Jo Medrano; granddaughter, Emily Elizabeth Purcell; grandmother, Aileen Dennison; husband, Cliff Kester; and brothers, Norin Mann and Joshua Mann.

Trish is survived by her daughter, Crystal Sloat, son Montana Medrano, and their families, as well as her granddaughters, nieces, nephews, and countless other relatives and friends. Known affectionately as Grandma Trish by the children whose lives she touched, her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of many.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Arnett, followed by burial at DeBolt Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.

In her passing, Patricia Leah Kester leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories, forever etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
