Peggy Ann Morava was born August 1, 1932 to LD and Pearl Huen Wentz in rural Woodward County, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on June 5, 2008 at the Newman Memorial Hospital in Shattuck, Oklahoma. Peggy was 75 years of age. The Wentz family lived in Harmon, Oklahoma where Peggy attended Parkham country school and Arnett Public Schools.

On December 19, 1949 Peggy married James Meininger. This union was blessed with four children: Jimmy Leon, Jack Hugh, Carrie Ann and John Arthur. They made their home in Harmon. James passed away in December of 1957.

Peggy married Harold Dean Johnson on March 12, 1959 and this union was blessed with two children, Harold Dean Jr. and Tricia Dawn. They lived in the Harmon area, later living in Arnett, Shattuck, Woodward and Gage. Harold Dean Johnson passed away on October of 2001.

In 1979 Peggy met her long time companion and confidant Leroy Morava who was with Peggy at her time of passing. Peggy was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking for friends and family, and reading. But the most important item in her life was time with her children and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, LD and Pearl Wentz, two husbands, James Meininger and Dean Johnson, son Jack Meininger, and brother, Daniel Wentz.

Peggy is survived by her companion, Leroy Morava of Harmon, OK; five children, Jimmy Meininger of Follett, TX, Annie Johnson of Harmon, OK, John (Wolf) Meininger of Gage, OK, Harold Johnson Jr. of Woodward, OK, and Tricia Johnson of Harmon, OK; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, other family and a host of friends.
