Percy Leon Jones was born November 24, 1916 to Henry Handsome and Edna (Davis) Jones in Camargo, OK. He was one of 10 children born to this union. He departed this life on May 12, 2010 in Valley Mills, TX, at the age of 93.

Percy was raised in Camargo and graduated from Camargo High School.

On May 28, 1941 Percy married Geneva Mae Gardner in Mutual, OK. To this Marriage 4 children were born, Leta Marie, Donald Ray, Eddie Eugene and Michael Wayne. After Percy and Geneva were married they made there home in Camargo, OK, Fritch, TX, McGregor, TX, and Crawford, TX.

Percy worked as a machinist for many years and was a tool crib manager. Percy enjoyed dancing, and working with his cattle. He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Edna Jones, brothers Floyd Jones, Orion Calvin (Pat) Jones, Marvin (Buck) Jones, Mason (Pete) Jones, Henry (Hank) Jones and Orvie (Pad) Jones, sisters Verla Jones, Helen Jones and Enola Pearl Jones.

He is survived by his wife Geneva Jones of Crawford, TX, children Leta Marie Jones of Valley Mills, TX, Donald Ray Jones of Georgetown, TX, Eddie Eugene Jones of San Antonio, TX, and Michael Wayne Jones of Valley Mills, TX, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 8 nieces, 7 nephews and a host of friends.
