Perry Wade Jones was born August 12, 1935 to Henry Theodore and Ula Mae (Boatman) Jones at Camargo, Oklahoma. He departed this life August 18, 2009 at the age of 74.

Perry went to school at Camargo where he attended throughout his youth graduating high school with the class of 1953. He then joined the United States Army serving his country from 1953 to 1955.

Perry married Wilma Jean Eastwood December 16, 1956 in Oakdale, Louisiana. To this union, four children were born: daughters; Lana Jo, Kelli Lajuan, and Dana Lynn; and one son Mark Edwin.

Perry worked as a barber, breadman, and a tool pusher for Pool Oil Company. He and his family lived many places over the years including: Leedey, Hydro, Mooreland, Woodward and finally Gore, Oklahoma.

Perry loved children and enjoyed coaching summer league baseball in Leedey, Oklahoma. Besides spending time with his family, Perry's favorite pastime was fishing. He attended the Camargo Christian Church where he was baptized.

Perry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ula Mae Jones; daughter, Sheryl Denise and infant daughter; sister, Latricia Phillips; uncle, Orvie Boatman; and grandparents, Bird and Maude Jones. He is survived by his loving wife Wilma Jean Jones of Gore, Oklahoma; three daughters: Lana Coursey and husband Terry of Enid, Oklahoma; Kelli James and husband Dean of Gore, Oklahoma; and Dana Troutman and husband Shawn of Vian, Oklahoma; son Mark Jones and wife Bambi of Woodward, Oklahoma; sisters Jan Smart and husband John of Seiling, Oklahoma, and Shirley Miller and husband Pete of Morris, Oklahoma; brother Lanny Jones of Mooreland, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a host of family and many dear friends.
