Pete Arnold Brown was born November 20, 1930 in Arnett, Oklahoma to Arnold W. and Faye (Nuttal) Brown. He passed from this life April 10, 2011 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years.
Pete attended grade school at Redden, Oklahoma and Arnett High School, graduating with the Class of 1949.
Pete joined the United States Army and served his country from 1951 to 1952, and was a veteran of the Korean War.
Pete spent his lifetime in the Arnett, Oklahoma area. He enjoyed welding, feeding cows and tinkering with his equipment. Two of his favorite pastimes were making homemade wine and taking care of his wild pigs. However, his greatest enjoyment was time spent visiting with friends and neighbors.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Faye Brown; brother, Jerome Brown and brother-in-law, John Turner.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Geraldine Turner of Vici, Oklahoma; nephews, Dennis Turner and wife Mona of Mooreland, Oklahoma and Wesley Turner of Vici, Oklahoma; great-nieces, Sandy Turner of Woodward, Oklahoma and Katie Lyon of Mooreland, Oklahoma, other relatives and a host of friends.
