Phyllis Ann (Osborne) Myers was born November 12, 1922 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Marion and Alta Smith. She passed from this life on December 26, 2011 at the age of 89.
Phyllis grew up in the Shattuck area and graduated from Shattuck High School. After graduation, Phyllis was married to Albert Quickel. Four children were born to this union: sons Albert Jr. and Joe, and daughters Robin and Judy. While raising the children, Albert and Phyllis lived in Woodward, Oklahoma, Childress, Texas and Ponca City, Oklahoma.
After Albert passed away in 1983, Phyllis was married to Leonard Groce and they made their home in Woodward, Oklahoma.
Phyllis later married Robert "Bob" Myers on April 5, 1997 and Phyllis lived in Woodward, Oklahoma, Houston, Texas and The Woodlands, Texas.
Phyllis was active in the United Methodist Church, especially in the women's group.
Throughout her life, Phyllis was a homemaker, worked in a hospital, and worked at Conoco Phillips as Human Resource Specialist.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents Marion and Alta Osborne, her son, Albert Jr., her husband Albert Quickel, and husband Leonard Groce. Phyllis is survived by her husband Robert "Bob" Myers of The Woodlands, Texas, son Joe Quickel and wife Lavonne of Yukon, Oklahoma, daughter Robin Cecil and husband Bryce of Yukon, Oklahoma, Judy Jones and husband Rob of Reseda, California and a host of family and friends.
