Randy Neil Gebhardt was born on March 1, 1955, in Woodward, Oklahoma, to Arthur and Marla Gebhardt as the second of three children. He grew up in Laverne, Oklahoma, where he made many lifelong friendships. Randy accepted Christ at the age of 13. He graduated from Laverne High School in 1973. Randy married the love of his life, Carrie Ann Brown, in Buffalo on Dec. 11, 1976. The couple had two sons, Clint and Ross, whom he enjoyed watching play sports and taking them to hunt and fish. He was very proud of the men his boys had become.

Randy spent most of his career working in the oil and gas industry. His free time was spent working in the yard and on home projects, as well as gardening, elk hunting, and taking weekend camping trips. His favorite vacations were those he took in the mountains with his family. He was nicknamed "Handy Randy" by his father-in-law because he could fix anything.

Randy was a loving husband, devoted father and exceptional grandfather. He went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at his home in Leedey, Oklahoma.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Marla Gebhardt, and father and mother-in-law, Duane and Dixie Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carrie, of the home; his sons Clint Gebhardt and his wife, Lauren, of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Ross Gebhardt and his wife, Adrienne, of Sunset, Texas; his brother and sister-in-law Jim and Jo Brown of Piedmont, Oklahoma; his sister, Lisa Ingram, and her husband, Carl, of Foss, Oklahoma; his brother, Steve Gebhardt, of San Angelo, Texas; grandsons Conner, Corby, and Rhett, and granddaughters Lydia, Colette, and Maeve; as well as many nieces and nephews.
