Raymond Douglas Schweitzer

Raymond Douglas Schweitzer was born January 16th, 1936 to Howard and Mildred Schweitzer. He lived in Dodge City, Kansas and graduated high school in 1954. He joined the Navy and served 4 years, then went to Fort Hays State University for four years, majoring in Political Science. He then went to Kansas State and obtained a Master's degree.

He became a city manager, working all over the United States. When he met Jean Barker and married in 1966, they began their travels from Tennessee to Arizona to Nevada and later California, where her retired, in Banning, California.

He and Jean then moved to Tennessee, then back to Nevada, and finally to Oklahoma for his final move.

He lost his precious wife Jean in 2017.

He has two living sisters, Judith Grey from North Carolina, and Claudette Ehrlich, Shattuck, Oklahoma. He also has many nieces and nephews.

Ray's career was one filled with honesty, and integrity. His last few years were spent at the Shattuck Nursing Center where he was given the best care possible.
