Reta Marie Spake was born to Cordy G. Spake and Agnes L. (Parry) Spake Humberd.  She was born near Vici, OK. on November 18, 1931.  She passed from this life on January 8, 2022 at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 3 weeks old.  Reta attended Mutual and Vici schools.  Reta married Allen Frank Hunter on September 7, 1947 in Canadian, TX.  they made their home in Ft. Supply, OK. where they raised four children, Frankie Lee, Clifford Leon, Terry Dewayne and Aretta Jane.  She was a member of the Ft. Supply First Baptist Church.  She worked for Western State Hospital as a kitchen supervisor for 30 years.  After the passing of her husband and upon her retirement, Reta moved to Woodward where she has resided for the past 28 years.

Reta was preceded in death by her husband Frank, her three sons, Frankie, Clifford and Terry.  Three grandsons, Travis, Kevin and Mike, two great grandsons, her parents and her siblings, Lucille, Rex, Francis, Cecil and Lynn.

Reta is survived by her daughter Aretta Elliott and partner Kale Harris of Follett, TX., eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, ten great, great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
