Robert Allen Cox, son of Eddie and Dorene Cox, was born at Woodward, Oklahoma on February 25, 1965 and went to be with his Lord on December 30, 2011. He was 46 years of age and was living at the Enid Senior Care Nursing Home at the time of his passing. He had been ill with Huntington Chorea disease and his battle with it had been lengthy.

Robert was baptized a Christian on June 17, 1973 and became a member of the Crown Height Baptist Church of Woodward.

He attended school in Woodward through the 5th grade before being enrolled in the 6th grade in the school at Yukon, Oklahoma. He graduated from high school in Yukon in 1984. He enjoyed football and was an avid Oklahoma University football fan.

His first occupational endeavor was as a painter. That job, however, proved to be lacking in such diversity as to make Robert's life interesting. A change to commercial driving on the highways of our nation proved to be the spark that gave his life purpose and interest.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Cox, in 2001 and by his Aunt Doris in 2004. He is survived by his mother, Dorene Cox, of Vici, Oklahoma; by his sister, Cindy Arnold and her husband, Russell, of Vici, Oklahoma; by a nephew, Brandon Arnold and his wife, Tara, of Sharon, Oklahoma; by two nieces, Misty Moore of Vici, Oklahoma and Allison Arnold of Woodward, Oklahoma; by two great nieces, Miah Moore and Rylee Arnold; by an aunt, Leola Gaston and her husband, Donald of Coffeyville, Kansas; by an uncle, Curtis Rushing of Weatherford, Oklahoma and by other relatives and many friends.
