Robert L. Phillips went to be with the Lord at the age of 81, on September 6, 2024. The graveside service will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gage Cemetery in Gage, Oklahoma with James Arnold officiating.

Robert was born on March 22, 1943 to Hester and Louie Phillips. Robert loved fishing, hunting, spending time with his family and friends. Robert never met a stranger, you knew right away if he liked you or not. Robert was also known for his many stories, some might say magnified at times. Robert was Vietnam Veteran and took pride in his service.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Louie C. Phillips, Louie Lee Phillips, sisters, Retha Lee Moore, Flora Mae Goff, and Lorean Shackleford.

Robert is survived by his wife Nancy Phillips, nephews, Alan Phillips, Richard Phillips, Danny Phillips, Alton Shackleford, Carroll Goff, Jerry Goff, Ernie Goff, and John David Moore, nieces, Marlene Dorrough, Teresa Oxford, Charlene Hannamon, Diana Glidewell, Becky Lemmond, Anna Sales, Darlene Goff, and many great nieces and nephews.

Robert was thought of as a second dad to many and grandparent to some.
