Obituary

Robert (Bob) William Fessler, 67, was born May 14, 1958 in Amarillo, TX to Glen and Leona (Genter) Fessler. He was one of four children born into the family. He grew up and attended school in Amarillo.

From his first marriage, his daughter Heather Donn was born on January 29, 1980. God gave him Heather to remind him every day that his stubbornness could be matched, and matehed well. She was a prized treasure to him and when she passed, it left a hole in his big heart. He adored his two granddaughters, Kena and Sue, and he was so proud of them.

Robert worked for over thirty years for Combustion Service Company. After he retired, he settled full time on the Genter farm at Gage, OK.

Robert enjoyed his trips to the quick stop, the bank, the post office, his dinner dates with Jessi, and his coffee stops at Jan's where he would try to match wits with Paylin Layna. One last time Bob, Donna was our favorite.

Robert was loved by so many and will be missed so much. His illness came quickly and didn't give him much time, but he made the most of what time he had left, like arguing with Fern.

He is survived by his granddaughters, Kenasia Leona Freeman and Kenleigh Sue Freeman both of Borger, TX; sister, Fern Roberts of Anchorage Alaska; aunt, Freda Jones of Rudidoso, NM; one niece, Sheri Roberts and family of Anchorage, Alaska; nephews, Chet Roberts and family of Anchorage, Alaska and Sean Usleton and family of Canyon, TX; cousins, Peggy Herron of Tucson, AZ, Todd Oberhew of Ruidoso, NM, Lois Fessler of Shattuck, OK, Ann McLoughlin of Shattuck, OK, Jan Dunham and family of Shattuck, OK, Julie Neal of Springfield, CO and Jessi and Logan Lalicker of Gage, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Leona Fessler; his daughter, Heather Fessler; brother-n-law Chet Roberts, brother-n-law and sister Dale and Glenda Usleton; his brother Jerry Fessler; paternal grandparents Bill and Gerti Fessler and maternal grandparents Lester and Mae Genter and two cousins Edris Burke and Deana Fessler.
