Rodney Glenn Brewer, was born to Orvel and Rosa (Augustin) Brewer, May 16, 1963 in Pampa, TX and passed away May 2, 2014 in Amarillo, TX at the age of 50 years.

Rodney was raised in Pampa, TX attending Pampa High School, and graduated as the class President of the Class of 1981. He continued his education at Texas Tech University receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineer. Rodney met the love of his life, Libby Ingraham and they were married May 4, 1991 in Vernal, Utah. The couple has five girls, Whitney, Mallori, Ciara, Emori and Hanna. Hanna is their newly adopted daughter from Ethiopia. They lived in Vernal, Utah, Dumas, TX and Sunray, TX before moving to Perryton, TX in 2000.

Rodney worked for BP as a Petroleum Engineer and was a member of the Texas Tech Alumni Association. He enjoyed golfing, coaching little league, taking walks with Libby and the dogs, doing mission work in Africa, working with the youth group at church and attending church camp every year. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Perryton, TX. He served as a deacon in Dumas and in Perryton. He taught and mentored the young married Sunday school class at FBC Perryton.

Rodney is survived by his wife Libby of the home in Perryton, TX; daughter, Emori Brewer of Perryton, TX, Ciara Brewer of Amarillo, TX and fiance Carlos Rodriguez of Dalhart, TX; Mallori Wilhelm and husband Jason, of Canadian, TX, Whitney Campbell and husband Joe of Canadian, TX and Hanna Brewer of Ethiopia; parents, Orvel and Rosa Brewer of Pampa, TX; sister Margaret Gilmore and husband Richard of Mountainburg, AR; brother AJ Brewer and wife Lindy of Washington, OK; brothers-in-law Steven Ingraham and wife Mary of Tuttle, OK and Tru Burchett and Wife Cora of Marshall, TX; 4 grandchildren and the newest is expected this week, Tate and Claire Wilhelm and Karson and Kynadee Campbell all of Canadian, TX; 2 nieces and 4 nephews.
