Roger Paul Bodley passed from this life on December 24, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on November 21, 1966, in Rochester, New York, to Lawrence James "Larry" Bodley, Sr., and Margaret Lydia Lee.

Roger spent his early years in Rochester, starting school in 1972. In 1976, he and his family moved to Shattuck, Oklahoma, where he continued his elementary education. In 1977, Roger relocated to Gage, Oklahoma, where he attended high school, graduating with the class of 1985.

On August 1, 1998, Roger married the love of his life, Elizabeth "Liz" Ann (Greenfield) Hanson, in Stinnett, Texas. Through this union, Roger welcomed two daughters, Shallon and Kelsey, into his heart and family. Together, Roger and Liz built a life in Woodward, Oklahoma; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and eventually returned to Gage, Oklahoma.

Roger worked as a truck driver and took great pride in his profession. In his free time, he loved baseball, camping, fishing, playing ping-pong, and hosting cookouts with friends. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his hearty laugh, and the joy he brought to those around him.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Margaret; his brother, Michael; and his sisters, Laura, Nancy, and Gail. He is survived by his devoted wife, Liz, of Gage; his brothers, Larry and wife Traci of Wichita, Kansas, and Kenny and wife Keri of Minco, Oklahoma; his sister, Robin and husband John of Englewood, Florida; his daughters, Shallon and husband Jeff of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Kelsey and husband Jamie of Woodward, Oklahoma. Roger's legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Colby and Cady, James, Lakota, Toby, Zachary, Izak, Johnny Ray, and Sissy. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends also mourn his passing.
