Ronald "Ron" Patrick Puckett, 70-year-old Arnett, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on December 27, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Ron was born on February 6, 1952 in Bentonville, Arkansas to parents James Warren and Carol Joyce (Love) Puckett. Ron and family then moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Ron attended elementary school. At the age of 12, Ron moved to Colcord, Oklahoma where he attended and graduated high school with the class of 1970. After graduating high school, Ron attended college at both Kansas State College in Pittsburg, Kansas and Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. On January 7, 1974 at the age of 21, Ron was united in marriage to the love of his life, Rhonda Lou Williams, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Weatherford. To this union was born three children, daughter Angel, son Lance, and daughter Dani.

After marriage, Ron and family moved to Clinton, Oklahoma and shortly after started his long career in the grocery business by going to work for United Supermarket. In 1976 he moved to Woodward, Oklahoma to work at United Supermarket locations there. In 1981 he moved to Guymon, Oklahoma where he managed the United Supermarket for 21 years. In 2002, he moved to Arnett, Oklahoma where he opened R & R Grocery, operating it until his passing. When he was not hard at work at the grocery store, Ron enjoyed woodworking. He enjoyed listening to music and playing the guitar. Ron was also a spirited OU Football fan. As a teenager in Colcord, Ron was baptized and started a relationship with Jesus Christ that he maintained until his passing.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, father James Puckett in 1998 and mother Carol Puckett in 2004; paternal grandparents, Warren and M. Elizabeth Puckett; and maternal grandparents, Murrell "Mutt" and Dolores Love.

Ron is survived by his wife of 48-years, Rhonda Puckett of Arnett; daughter Angel Swindle and husband Richard of Sharon, Oklahoma and their children Kirstyn, Kelsey, Kylee, and Kaylan; son Lance Puckett and wife Ellen of Moore, Oklahoma and their children Etta, Molly, and Pixie; daughter Dani Puckett of Arnett and her child Corbyn Brewster; sister Cindy Litchford and husband Johnny of Arkansas and their children Kristen, Brittany, and Matthew; brother Tony Puckett and wife Laura of Florida and his sons Nicholas and Matthew; brother Larry Puckett and wife Lonesa of Alaska; and a host of loved ones and friends.
