IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronnie Dale
Jackson
April 8, 1954 – April 9, 2025
Ronnie Dale Jackson passed from this life on April 9, 2025, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, at the age of 71. He was born April 8, 1954, in Vici, Oklahoma, to Johnie Leland and Velma Marie (Johnson) Jackson. Ronnie was raised in Vici, where he attended and graduated from Vici schools, building the foundation for a life marked by hard work, resilience, and a love for the outdoors.
He furthered his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. On February 25, 1974, Ronnie married Regina Daupin, and together they welcomed a son, JD. The family made their home in Woodward, Oklahoma, where Ronnie worked in the oilfield—a job that suited his hardworking nature.
Later in life, Ronnie married Robin Hartline in Chickasha, Oklahoma. The couple was blessed with a son, Trey. He also embraced his role as a stepfather to Josh Smith. During this chapter, he continued working in the oil field as a hired hand and truck driver, never shying away from the long hours and tough work that the job demanded. Eventually, Ronnie returned to his roots in Vici, where he settled back on the family farm and worked with McNeil Construction.
Ronnie had a deep love for the outdoors. In his spare time, he could often be found hunting or fishing, activities that brought him peace and connection with nature.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnie and Velma Jackson; his brother-in-law, Bill Bryant; and several aunts and uncles.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons: JD Jackson and wife Nickie of Foss, OK; Trey Jackson of Woodward, OK; and Josh Smith of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by his beloved grandsons, Kasen and Rhielan Jackson of Vici, OK; his sisters, Darlene Bryant of Camargo, OK, and Marie Kirkwood and husband Jim of Mutual, OK; his uncle Carl Jackson; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Ronnie's strength, independence, and enduring love for his family will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
