Roy Lynn Phillips, son of William 'Dub' Phillips and Dorothy Jean (Maggard) Phillips Cann, was born January 15, 1970 in Shattuck, OK.  He passed from this life January 6, 2023 at his home in Arnett, OK. at the age of 52 years, 11 months and 22 days.  Roy grew up in the Arnett community where he attended high school graduating with the Arnett class of 1989.

On May 31, 2012 in Arnett, OK., Roy was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Teresa Kathryne Harrelson.  Their blended family of three daughters and two sons blessed the home they established in Arnett.  Roy and Teresa were the owners of R & T Livestock and operated a custom hay cutting, baling and hauling business.  Roy was an avid team roper and was a member of the World Series of Team Roping and the United States Team Roping Championships organizations.  Numerous friendships were made when attending these sanctioned roping events and the team roping 'family' was very important to Roy and Teresa.

In 2019 Roy was baptized and became a member of the Arnett Church of Christ.  He was a loving husband, father and papa that will be greatly missed.

Roy is preceded in death by his father William 'Dub' Phillips and other loved ones.  His memory will be cherished by his wife Teresa of the home in Arnett, OK., his mother Dorothy Phillips of Arnett, OK;  his children Britanee Gray and husband Darek of Sunray, TX., Elizabeth Selby and partner Zach of Mutual, OK., Sammy Goedecke and husband Colten of Leach, OK., Clynt Phillips of Hoover, AL. and Brett Phillips of Leach, OK.; his sister Kathy Phillips of Arnett, OK; his brothers Wayne Phillips, Mike Phillips, Wes Phillips and Bill Phillips all of Arnett, OK; twelve grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A family memorial service is planned for Friday, January 13, 2023, 11:00 AM, at the Arnett Church of Christ.
