Obituary

Rudy Alan Inselman was born in Cheyenne, OK, on March 7, 1972, the third son of Quinlin Inselman and Barbara Mabry. Small, little boy when born, little guy all his life, but the strongest, biggest hearted, positive person and loved by all. He passed from this life on January 11, 2012. He was 39 years of age.

Rudy spent his childhood growing up in the Packsaddle Community. This happy go lucky boy loved everything around him that was associated with nature. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, riding 4-wheelers and just enjoying all that the great outdoors could offer him. He was always with his brothers, family and many childhood friends. Those same friends remain loyal to that special friendship today.

He spent his school days from elementary to senior year with the same classmates. He graduated with the Arnett Class of 1990 and attended OSU. He liked playing sports in High School and was an avid sports fan, (He loved the Cowboys.) As a young man he came back to help his mom, dad and Jim run the ranch. Rudy then started his own asphalt and paving company traveling and working the whole western United States enjoying everything along the way. Then the opportunity to work in Oklahoma City came about and he moved to the City to work with his friend, Jason Bradshaw in the spray on linings business.

This business grew and he became the manager of SJB Linings and Xtreme Liners of OKC. A job he was proud of and worked everyday striving to do. He was loved by all his co-workers, friends and business associates. He was strict, fair, honest, and ran a tight shop, but was respected by all.

True love came to Rudy in the name of Hope Suthers. They were married October 10, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV. They had many things in common and enjoyed doing them all together. Hunting, fishing, water skiing, snow skiing and also a love for the sport of car racing. Hope rode with Rudy in most of his races. As in his way of approaching his life – he raced the same way. Not always finishing as the winner, but at the race's end always positive wherever he finished – always having fun doing it, and made everyone else around him happy just being there. Everyone always cheered for Rudy!

He battled all his life with his health. However Rudy always remained positive, upbeat and never felt like "Why me?" He just approached each day – ready to get on with it. Rudy loved everyone. There was not anyone who knew Rudy that didn't love him back. He was one of the sweetest human beings ever.

Rudy was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Juanita Inselman, grandfather Dale New, and uncle Fred New. Besides his loving wife Hope, he leaves behind his mom Barbara Mabry, dad Quinlin Inselman, special dad Jim Mabry, two brothers – JR and wife Tena, Mike and wife Ashley, three brothers-in-law John, Joey, and Kyle, grandmother Ione New, several aunts and two uncles, five nieces and a nephew and many many friends.

Rudy, the biggest little guy ever, has left all of us with an abundance of special memories, and will always be loved and missed dearly.
