Ryder Dale Hamaker "Poot" was welcomed into the loving arms of his parents, Brandon Paul and Jacqueline Janette (Brunson) Hamaker on August 29, 2001 in Shattuck, OK. His young life was tragically cut short when he passed from this life March 30, 2010 at the age of 8.

Ryder was welcomed into the family by big brother, Jaxon, whom he shared a special bond with. He later became the proud big brother to Rocky and Jazmyn "Jazzy". The family made their home in Shattuck, Oklahoma. Ryder was a student in Mrs. Phyllis Suthers 2nd grade class at Shattuck Public Schools.

Ryder enjoyed basketball, baseball, football, going to the lake, playing with cousins and playing video games with his daddy. He was an avid OU fan and was anxiously waiting for the day he was able to play football for the Shattuck Indians. Wrestling with his brothers and baby sister was always a joy. Other special times were spent with mom and dad watching the NASCAR races and cheering on Dale Jr., playing golf, watching NFL games, especially the Vikings, and going on prairie dog hunts. He wanted to some day run the football just like Adrian Peterson.

Ryder was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Winson and Cliffie Carmen Creech, maternal great grandmother, Nettie Brunson, paternal great grandfather, Harold Hamaker, great aunt Debra Janette Creech, great-great grandparents Sam and Sarah Holt, and special aunt, Candice Brunson.

He is survived by his parents, Brandon and Jacqueline Hamaker, brother, Rocky Hamaker and sister, Jazmyn Hamaker all of the home in Shattuck, Oklahoma; grandparents, Justin and Angela Hamaker of Fargo, Oklahoma; grandmother, Raelene Whitson of Woodward, Oklahoma; grandparents, Ricky and Cathy Brunson of Fargo, Oklahoma; great-grandparents, Rae Dean Hamaker of Fargo, OK, Vernon Brunson of Weatherford, TX, Rosella Maphet of Moffet, CO and Vic Maphet of Gate, OK; several uncles and aunts, Samuel and Kimberly Hamaker of Laverne, Oklahoma, Justina Hamaker of Shattuck, OK, Christopher and Casey Brunson of Waynoka, OK, Phillip and Carriss Sharp of Elk City, OK, Bridget and Brittany Brunson of Fargo, OK, Kaleb Seal of Fargo, OK, Justin Hamaker, Jr. of Fargo, OK, Kelsie, Keona, Wyoming and Samantha Hamaker all of Fargo, OK; special extended family, Bubba Brett Hammack, Lee Akins and family, Ryan and David Edens, Hayley and Adam Johnson, Jamie Jo Barnes, William and Sky Howard, Wiliam and Dusty Frazier, numerous cousins, great aunts and uncles, friends and classmates.
