Samuel David Vallaster, II

A private family memorial service will be held at a later time to celebrate Samuel's life.

Samuel Vallaster II was welcomed into this world on March 8, 1977, in Borger, TX, by his mother, Katherine Martin, and father, Samuel Vallaster.

He graduated from Champs Academy in 1997 and shortly after joined the U.S. Navy. He served on the USS Champion and was honorably discharged as a veteran of the Gulf War Era.

He made his way to Shattuck, OK, where he began working for Braums Farms. There he met and soon after married Crystal Nobles, in November of 2002. They spent the next 10 years of their lives raising their children, Corie and Seth.

It was during this time Sam decided to obtain his CDL, which began his truck driving career. He would continue to find many job opportunities throughout the course of his life.

In 2013, he moved to Walsenburg, CO, to be near his sister Georgi and father Sam.

Sam sought solitude in the mountains and nearby lakes, creeks, and rivers before being tragically taken from this world and all who loved him.

He was received into the arms of his Lord and Savior on July 8, 2026. A moment he had spent a lifetime waiting for.

Sam is survived by his mother and stepfather, Katherine and Edward Martin of Amarillo, TX; father and stepmother Samuel and Karen Vallaster of Walsenburg, CO; daughter Corie Vallaster of Arnett, OK; son Seth Nobles of Weatherford, OK; sisters Georgi Vallaster of Walsenburg, CO, and April Schwenk of Shattuck, OK; brothers James Martin and Tyler Martin of Amarillo, TX; brothers Kevin and John Lulf; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He is also survived by many friends and family members, including his life-long friends Randy Jackson and Bill Harmon.
