Shannon DeAnn McGaha was born January 9, 1978 in Olathe, CO. to Donald Lee and Deniece Lorraine (Lewis) Graham.  Six weeks later her mother passed away, leaving her Daddy with two little girls to raise.  Grandparents Clyde and Lorraine Lewis helped Don with the little girls for over two years. Don met and married Gloria Hayes from Traver, CA. moving LaDonna and Shannon and adding to their family Jesicah, Chaston and Mitchell.

Shannon was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the First Born in 1992 at the age of 14 by Brother Alan Garrison at Lost Lake in Fresno, CA. on a cold and rainy day.  She married Rocky Dale McGaha on August 25, 2001.  To this union three children were added; Baylor Sage, Gavin Dale and Graham Lewis.  Her family and home were her love and joy.  Shannon had a knack for design and color and received great satisfaction from this.  Her yard, trees and flower beds reflected her joy and hard work.  She studied the types of trees for each season that would produce beauty for the eye to behold.  She wanted her family to enjoy God's beauty.  Shannon learned to love cattle and it brought her much joy in seeing calves born and their friskiness.  She was a great help working with Rocky, bookkeeping and helping keep up with the cattle.  She enjoyed watching her children show calves in stock shows.  She loved softball, her favorite sport, playing second base and center field.  She loved poetry and wrote many poems from experiences in life.

Shannon passed from this life in the evening of September 14, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Deniece Graham, two infant babies and her father in law, Dale McGaha.

Those she leaves behind are her husband, Rocky McGaha and children, Baylor, Gavin and Graham, her father, Don Graham and mother, Gloria Graham;  her sisters, LaDonna Cobb (Steve), Jesicah Benitez (Jesse) and her brothers, Chaston (Denise), Mitchell (Mary) and their families.  Her in-laws; Dana and Randy Thompson, Sarah Todd (Robbie), Phillip (Emily), Luke, Bradly and Tony (Shayna) and their families.  A special Grandma Shirlene Lewis, several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and a host of friends.
