Shawna Leigh (Seidel) Burba was born on October 26, 1962 to Eddie Lee and Clarneta Fern (McCracken) Seidel in Woodward, Oklahoma. The Lord called her home December 14, 2018 at her home near Vici, Oklahoma. Shawna was at the age of 56 years, one month, and 18 days. She was the oldest of three daughters.
Shawna's family first lived in Vici for a short time before moving to Woodward. In 1964 the family moved to Pueblo, Colorado where she attended school through the third grade. In 1972 the family moved again to Moore, Oklahoma where they lived through Shawna's sixth grade year. In 1975 they returned to Vici, Oklahoma where she finished the rest of her school years, graduating with the class of 1981.
Shawna Leigh (Seidel) Burba met her soul mate while he was dragging main in Vici in his 1986 Camero. On April 4th, 1980 Randy and Shawna were married by Brother Bob McCracken at The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn. Their firstborn, Jeremey Dale, was born on December 20, 1981. Their home was blessed with a second child, Ashley Nicole, on October 10th, 1983. On March 12, 1984 Shawna was baptized by Brother Donald Moss into The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn.
Shawna had many things she enjoyed, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grand babies. Many weekends were spent spending the night at "Gea's House" for Titus, Trinitee and Torren.
Shawna also had several very special ladies in her life. Usually every day her phone would ring, and it would be either her sister Shanda Seidel or her first cousin Gayle Holsinger.
Shawna also greatly enjoyed the holidays. Her favorite being Christmas. You knew she would always have her lights hung outside and two Christmas trees in the house every year.
Shawna was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Randy Dale Burba, her mother Clarneta Fern Seidel, her mother-in-law Margie Jo Burba, her sister Shelby Diane Ross, her brother-in-law Michael Ray Hoskins and one nephew, Shane Scott Kinsey.
Those left behind to mourn her loss include a son Jeremey Burba of Vici, a daughter Ashley Johnson and husband Jesse Johnson, also of Vici, three grandsons; Titus, McKy and Reily and four granddaughters; Trinitee, Torren, Jessa and Tamrynn, her father, Eddie Seidel of Vici; one sister Shanda Lynn Seidel of Farmington, New Mexico; sister-in-law Dawn Kinsey and husband Steve of Woodward, Oklahoma, father-in-law Melvin Burba of Woodward, Oklahoma; nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of family and friends.
