Skyler Brook Thimling was born to Aleta Thimling July 3rd, 1988 in Stillwater, OK and left this life February 17th, 2023 at the age of 34 and a half years of age. He was one month old when he and his mom moved to Enid, OK where he grew up and lived until he graduated from high school.

Skyler attended Willow View United Methodist church growing up. In his younger years he played baseball until it interfered with his time on the farm. He ran track and cross country in middle school and high school, mainly to get out of class. He graduated from Chisholm High School in 2006.

After graduation, Skyler worked for the county in Ellis County and in the oil field for a few years before moving to Arnett and started full time farming. Farming was his job, his hobby and his passion. He started spending all of his spare time, school holidays, and all summer on the farm by the time he was 6 years old.

Skyler was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, George and Melba Thimling, Hubert and Vera Tefertiller, and honorary grandparents Tommy and Betty Morrill. He is survived by his mother Aleta Thimling of Enid, OK. Sister, Camry Woodward and husband Sean Torla of Louisville Kentucky. Grandparents, Ted and Leatha Thimling of Arnett, OK. Aunt and uncle, Kevin and Glynna Worley of Arnett, OK. Very special friends, John and Karen Mitchell of Arnett, OK. And, many other extended family and friends.
