Stephanie Paulsen, 51, passed away on February 6, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She was born on February 8, 1974, in Moore, Oklahoma, to Garry Alvin Krueger and Vickie Lynn Elliott. Stephanie attended grade school in Woodward, Oklahoma, began high school in Mooreland, and graduated from Sharon-Mutual High School with the class of 1992. She continued her education through beauty college and also completed training as a private investigator, armed security officer, and EMT.
Stephanie married Darrin Paulsen on May 5, 1998, in Lipscomb, Texas. Together they built a life and raised four children: Jessika, Dalton, Ethan, and Zachery DeShon. Throughout their marriage, they made their home in Camargo, Vici, Rawlins, Wyoming, Mooreland, and eventually returned to Vici, where they were surrounded by family and friends.
She worked as a manager for Sure Finance Company and was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoyed diamond art and working with cattle. She also cared deeply about others and supported several causes, including Childhood Cancer, Suicide Prevention, and Breast Cancer Awareness organizations.
Stephanie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized on February 9, 2020.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessika; her uncles, Eddie Willcock and Phill Torbett; her grandmother, Jessie Willcock; her grandfather, Edwin Willcock; her father-in-law, Bill Harper; and her great-nephew, Kayston Hatchel.
She is survived by her husband, Darrin Paulsen of Vici, Oklahoma; her sons, Dalton, Ethan, and Zachery DeShon; her two grandchildren that she loved and adored, Raelynn and Logan; mother and stepfather, Vickie and Charles Elliot of Woodward, Oklahoma; father and stepmother, Garry and Carlene Krueger of Mooreland, Oklahoma; and her brother, Jason Krueger and wife Courtney of Woodward, Oklahoma; step-sisters, Karlen Jones of Detroit, Michigan, Kim Levy of Oregon, and Brooke Elliott of Woodward, Oklahoma; step-brothers, Sloane Burling and Justin Elliott, both of Woodward, Oklahoma; her brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Melanie Paulsen of Leedey, Oklahoma; her sister-in-law, Tivie Troupe of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her brother and sister-in-law, Travis and Kendra Severson of Lawton, Oklahoma; her daughter-in-law, Alexis Paulsen; five surviving aunts; five surviving uncles; six nieces; six nephews; and many friends who were considered family.
Stephanie will be remembered for her strong spirit, caring heart, and the love she had for her family and those around her.
