Our light was dimmed on March 4, 2025 as Suzzette Delpha Patton, 82, of Woodward, OK passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home with family by her side. She had the best caretaker for the last 2 years of her life, her granddaughter Shane Landis, where she received the utmost care.

Born June 15, 1942 to Arlie Mary (Dennett) and Wilbur Thompson in Vici, OK where she grew up and attended school. She married Royce Westenhaver Sr. and two children were born from this union – Teresa and Buddy. While residing in Woodward, Suzzette attended beauty school and received her cosmetology license in 1965. She worked at Cameo Beauty Shop and also taught at the beauty college. Later in life, on October 24th, 1970, Suzzette married Willis (Corky) Patton. In this union, she helped care for Corky's child, Janice Brown.  Her daughter Teresa, purchased Merle Norman in Woodward, OK where Suzzette managed and worked at for over 30 years and loved every minute of it.

Suzzette's faith kept her steadfast. She was a very loving, strong and beautiful person; always gentle and generous, showing kindness and compassion in everything she did. But most of all she loved her family - they were the light of her life. She found immense joy and happiness amongst them.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Reffner and her son, Buddy Westenhaver both of Woodward and Janice Brown and husband Larry of Woodward; her precious granddaughter, Brittany Breisch of Edmond, Oklahoma, grandson, Chris Landis and wife, Shane, of Jefferson City, Missouri, grandson, Frankie Hickey, of Woodward, Oklahoma and grandson Koa Westenhaver of Woodward, Oklahoma, granddaughter Hilary Hubbard and husband Brent of Edmond, Oklahoma and granddaughter Sydnie Davidson and husband Jeremy of Shawnee; great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Lathan Landis, Madison Spradlin, Hollace, Rhett and Thad Hubbard and Margot, Maggie and Holden Davidson; great-great grandson Nilez Landis; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and close family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Corky Patton on November 12, 2001, her sister Anita Winter and her two brothers, Earl and Orne Thompson, her precious cat, Kitty Blue and her "grandfur", Talon.

A luncheon and services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 honoring our precious Suzzette at the Vici Community Center in Vici, Oklahoma. All are welcome to attend the luncheon which will begin at 11:00am with services following at 1:00p.m.  Her nephew Randy Thompson will be presiding.
