Timothy George Good, son of George Timothy Good and Patricia (Hughey) Mackey was born January 13, 1971 in Arlington, TX. and passed from this life in Shattuck, OK. May 23, 2026 at the age of fifty-five. The family relocated to the Canadian and Higgins, TX. area when Tim was a youngster. He attended elementary school at Higgins and graduated from Canadian High School. Being a truck driver in the oilfield was his chosen career path and his special interests included all things airplanes, models and hunting. On June 4, 2005, at Gage, OK., Lindsey Dawn Woods became Tim’s wife and he loved her endlessly. Their home in Gage was blessed with four children, Shawn, Hannah, Bexlei and Everlei. Together, Tim and Lindsey weathered storms that might break others and came out stronger on the other side. Their marriage was built on love and laughter. Tim’s love for life was unmeasurable. He was always trying to bring joy to those around him. When things got tough or tense, a good fight with pool noodles dissolved all the trouble! Tim was actively involved and committed to the community he loved and he served on the Fargo-Gage School Board and was a retiree from the Gage Fire Dept. On August 31, 2014, he made another commitment, he was baptized by Pastor Mike Cox at the Gage First Baptist Church and in September of 2019 Tim joined with Pastor Blake Farley to plant Ascent Church. As a dedicated member he served as youth director, was on the worship team and was working toward ordination. Tim loved hard and loved big and he would let you know, everyone was an automatic “friend” and he had a story to share about everyone. From his youth kids, co-workers, EMT’s and especially the nurses and techs at his dialysis clinic, Tim knew something or everything about all of them. To know Tim was to love Tim, if you didn’t like Tim, the problem was probably you! Tim’s children were his greatest joy. He was so proud of them and the people they were becoming and prouder still of the grandbabies they blessed his life with. Tim was everybody’s dad, if you were in youth, the barista at Lindsey’s favorite coffee shop or friends of his beloved nephews who were more like little brothers, you knew him by Timmie or Uncle Timmie. His nieces, Taightem and Taylon were very special to him and they had to see each other at least once a week, he adored them.
Tim is preceded in death by his father George Good and other loved ones. His memory will be cherished by his beloved wife, Lindsey Good, his children, Shawn, Hannah, Bexlei and Everlei Good and grandchildren Noah Jo, Baker, Timberlee and Lanie. His brother James Mackey and his sister and brother in law, Donita and Dennis Gardner. His nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Tim’s love for music was unmatched. Whether his family wanted to or not they were always subject to the front row seats of his concerts when they were traveling. He loved all genres of music and shared that love with his children, especially his girls. Bexlei was inspired to be in band and he fostered a love of singing in Hannah and Everlei and loved performing with them.
Tim was always talking, whether it was to himself or someone else, he just couldn’t be quiet. It was often joked that he suffered from verbal diarrhea! With his passing, the world is going to be a much quieter place!
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made towards the girls' trust account at the Oklahoma State Bank.
