Timothy Edward Melton, son of Johnny and Joyce Northrup Melton was born April 13, 1962 in Sacramento, CA.  He was called to his heavenly home at the age of 59 years, 5 months and 7 days on September 20, 2021.

Tim grew up in California and his school years were spent in Sacramento where he attended Hiram W. Johnson High School.  In July of 1978, while attending a camp meeting in Colorado, Tim became a member of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn.  He was baptized by Bro. Wayne Brown and as he came out of the water he was able to handle a serpent.  He remained strong in his faith the remainder of his life.  At a church sponsored youth singing in February of 1989, Tim met the love of his life, Julia Diahann Marler of Oklahoma City, OK.  They were united in marriage by Bro. Lester Arnold at the Shields church in Oklahoma City on July 22, 1989.  The newlyweds returned to Sacramento, CA. where Tim was employed as a plumber and established their home.  They were blessed with their first two children, Jordan Isreal and Reanna Joyce.  In 1993 Tim and Julia moved back to the Oklahoma City area until 2006 when they moved to Vici, OK. for the next five years.  During those years, six blessings arrived, Jacob Tyler, Jessalyn Marie, Joseph Timothy, Nolen Alvin, Jaidan Allen and Nathaniel Dewayne.

Following the loss of his beloved wife Julia in 2011, Tim moved to Henryetta, OK. and then to Oregon until 2015.  He then returned to make his home in Choctaw, OK. where he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and fellowship with brethren.

His memory will be cherished by his children, Jordan Isreal Melton and his wife Kalena of Eugene, OR., Reanna Joyce Melton of Edmond, OK., Jacob Tyler Melton of Midwest City, OK., Jessalyn Marie Molloy and her husband Benjamin of Urbana, MO., Joseph Timothy Melton of Choctaw, OK., Nolen Alvin Melton and his wife Abby of Midwest City, OK., Jaidan Allen Melton of Urbana, MO. and Nathaniel Dewayne Melton of Choctaw, OK., three grandchildren, Gideon and Zoey Molloy and Sebastion Melton.  Two brothers, Mark Melton and his wife, Karen of Sacramento, CA. and  Daniel Melton of Claremore, OK.; Two sisters, Shannon Bell and her husband Walter of Pleasant Hill, OR. and Katreena Gully and her husband Aaron of Redding, CA.; A sister in law, Laurie Melton Seat and her husband Ed of Cushing, OK.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, other relatives and cherished brethren and friends.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Joyce Melton, his beloved wife, Julia Diahann Melton, a grandson, Ryder Melton, his father and mother in law, Dewayne and Thelma Marler.   One brother, John Melton, a sister in law, Rita Keese, daughter in law, Rosey Melton and other loved ones.
