Travis Eugene Roy passed away on March 12, 2026, at Vici, Oklahoma, at the age of 64. He was born December 6, 1961, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Eddy Lee and Arleta Marie (Dennett) Roy.
Travis spent his early years growing up in several communities, including Shawnee, Ada, and Vici. He began his schooling in Downs, Kansas, and later moved with his family to Vici, where he continued his education and graduated from Vici High School.
Following high school, Travis lived in a number of places throughout the years, including Vici; Liberal, Kansas; several communities in Arizona; Foss, Oklahoma; and eventually returned to Vici, where he made his home. Throughout his working years, Travis was known for his mechanical ability and strong work ethic. He worked in small engine repair and was the owner and operator of a boat rental shop in Foss. In later years, he worked as a pilot car driver.
Travis enjoyed the outdoors and the hobbies that came with it. He loved fishing, hunting, spending time around boats, working on hot rods, and collecting and working with guns. These interests brought him much enjoyment throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Arleta Roy; his grandparents, Otis and Pearl Dennett; his grandparents, Ed and Opal Roy; and his stepfather, Mark Womack.
He is survived by his children, Tiffany Roy and Travin Roy; his stepdaughters, Brittany and Amanda; his father, Eddy Roy and wife Penny; his sister, Tonya Quinby and husband Alan; his brother, Terry Roy and wife Theresa; his uncle, Arty Roy and wife Lynda; nine grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will cherish his memory.
