IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Trevia Joyce
Taylor
December 20, 1952 – December 19, 2023
Trevia Joyce (Cowan) Taylor was born on December 20,1952 to Raymond Carl Cowan and Dorothy Jean (Burr) Cowan in Marvill, Arkansas. She grew up in Cyril, Oklahoma with her five siblings. She then met Jackie Taylor and they were united in marriage in 1969. They made their home in Gage, Oklahoma where they raised their three daughters Jodi, Dana and Keri.
Trevia worked in different professions until she found her calling in the medical field. She graduated from LPN school in 1983 and worked for thirty - four years until she retired. After retirement she lived a very simple, quiet life but stayed busy. You could always find her working on her "to do list". From remolding her home, camper, patio area, gardening and sewing she always had a goal. But she always made time for her daughter's daily phone calls and her twice-a-week phone calls from her special friend Diane Orr.
Trevia was smart, caring, compassionate, witty, loyal and a very strong-willed lady. Simply put she was her family's "ROCK".
Trevia passed suddenly on December 19, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Dorothy Cowan, sisters Patrisha Kelly, Esther Grindhart brothers Ray Cowan and Earl Scott. She is survived by sister Linda Rumley, daughter Jodi and husband Kevin of Gage, Oklahoma, Dana McQuigg and Amy Walkup of Tuttle , Oklahoma , Keri Cupp of Tuttle, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren Shelby, Courtney Jones of Gage, Oklahoma, Corey and wife Rylee Cupp of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Cameron, Connor Cupp of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Noah, Nic, Madi McQuigg of Tuttle, Oklahoma two great granddaughters Erin Jones of Gage, Oklahoma, and Willow Jay Cupp of Tuttle, Oklahoma.
Look for me in the moments.
I will be there.
