Vera Faye (Hughes) Graybill, 84 year old Leedey, OK resident passed from this life on June 8, 2022, in Sulphur Springs, TX. Vera was born August 9, 1937, to Perry Otis and Vera Belle (Esler) Hughes in Elk City, OK. She lived in Hammon, OK where she attended Hammon Public Schools.

On July 6, 1953, Vera married Burwin Archer in Hammon. To this union two sons and one daughter, Wayne, Kevin and Sharon, was born. She attended the Moorewood Missionary Church and was baptized at the age of 12 in the Holders Pond by Bro. Hodge. Not only was she a homemaker but a loving mother and was always willing to help anyway she could. Vera married Harry Graybill on February 5, 1992, at the First Baptist Church, Altus, OK.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents Perry and Vera Hughes; her husband Harry Graybill; her daughter Sharon Leibold, son Kevin Archer, brothers Dale Hughes and Bud Hughes.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son Wayne Archer and wife Sheila of Sulphur Springs, TX. Brother Larry Hughes, sisters June Trent and Elnora Foster and grandchildren Joey Archer and wife Stacy, David Archer, Andy Archer and wife Laura and Karson Leibold and wife Sydney; great-grandchildren Harley Archer, Matthew Archer, Jacy Ashford, Lainee Ashford, Trinity Ashford, Caleb Archer, Cameron Archer, Pypre Archer and Gavin White and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
