Virginia Lee (Bolton) Moyer, 99, of Woodward, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully February 24, 2025. She was born on November 20, 1925, in Wetumka, Oklahoma, to Edna A. Coyner and Daniel J. Bolton.
Virginia met the love of her life, Lloyd R. Moyer, and the two were married on October 20, 1945, in Hobbs, New Mexico. Together, they built a beautiful life, welcoming their first daughter Dana in Louisiana and later settling in Woodward, Oklahoma, where they welcomed their second daughter Vicki and raised their family.
Virginia was known for her warm and welcoming spirit. In her later years, she enjoyed working in retail sales, delighting in handing out samples at grocery stores and engaging with her community. She had a passion for traveling, gardening, and needlework, each reflecting her creativity and love of beauty.
A devoted woman of faith, Virginia was an active member of the First Assembly of God, where she served as the Christ's Ambassadors (C.A.) president, participated in women's ministries, taught Sunday school, and led Missionettes. Her dedication to her church and community left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Virginia was blessed with a loving family, including four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edna Bark and Daniel Bolton; her beloved husband, Lloyd Moyer; and her grandson, Dustin Plank.
She is survived by her two daughters, Dana Plank and Vicki Sparkman, who will forever cherish her love, wisdom, and unwavering faith.
Virginia's life was one of grace, kindness, and devotion. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A family led memorial service will be held Monday, March 3, at 10 AM at the Woodward Assembly of God Church.
