Walter Clarence Rupprecht, 77-year-old from Edmond, OK passed from this life at his home on July 18, 2016 with his significant other by his bedside. Walter was born on January 9, 1939 in Perryton, TX to Elmer and Leta Mae Price Rupprecht. Walter grew up in Arnett, OK where he attended and graduated from Arnett Public Schools. In 1957 Walter joined the Navy where he faithfully served his country until his honorable discharge in 1961, and he earned a Good Conduct Medal Award during his service. Walter lived in Arnett and worked as an Electronic Technician until his retirement. He met his significant other Roger Sayers in December 2004. Walter moved to Edmond, OK in July 2011.

Walter enjoyed the rodeo, carpentry, gardening, cooking, and the Arts. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Leta Mae Rupprecht; one brother Charles Rupprecht; and one sister Yvonne Miller.

He is survived by his significant other Roger Sayers of the home; three nephews Randy Rupprecht, Richard Rupprecht, and Eldon Miller; two nieces Sandra K Freeman and Joleta Bell; other family and many many friends.
