Wanda Lee Reese was born to Samuel Haul and Elsie Gertrude Reese on April 22, 1925 at their family farm east of Vici, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on December 30, 2008 at the age of 83.
Wanda's elementary school years were spent in the Richmond and Perry country schools. The family moved to California and lived for a time in Fresno and Madera before returning to the family farm. Wanda completed her high school education in the Vici Public School.
Wanda worked briefly outside the home, but most of her life was spent as a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and working in her yard. Wanda loved to travel with members of her family, but undoubtedly, her greatest love was just spending time with them and caring for them. Wanda's love for the Lord was expressed through the love and kindness she always showed to the people in her life.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Elsie Reese and by sisters, Erma Reese and Clara Odell.
She is survived by sister, Elma Glendinning of Woodward, OK; brother, Dale Reese and wife Aletha of Broken Arrow, OK and their children, Chandra Hall of Tulsa, OK and Christina Ennis of Broken Arrow, OK; by nieces, Debra Mejia of Tulsa, OK, Sherrie Kreger of Ponca City, OK, and Linda Pool of Perkins, OK; by nephew, David Dale Reese of Oklahoma City; and by other dear family members and many friends whom she treasured and loved.
