Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on February 3, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Arnett with burial following at DeBolt cemetery.

Monday at the funeral home in Arnett, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday viewing will be at the Church with the family present to greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Willa Faye Johnson, 80 of Arnett, Oklahoma passed from this life on January 31, 2015 in Mooreland, Oklahoma. Willa was born February 22, 1934, in Shattuck, Oklahoma, to Orval Irvin Ashpaugh and Katherine Louise Kliewer Ashpaugh. Willa attended grade school in Shattuck, later moving to the family farm west of Arnett. It was at school in Arnett that she met the love of her life, Robert Z. Johnson, and they were married December 23, 1951, in Clayton, New Mexico. To this union were born two children, Jackie and Jerry. Robert and Willa worked together farming and ranching, and raising their children on the ranch south of Arnett until retirement. Robert preceded her in death in 2006.
Willa thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren, and she and Robert were very active in their lives growing up. They spent a lot of time at Foss Lake after retirement, boating with the grandkids, and doing a lot of fishing with friends and family. She always had a smile on her face, a pot of coffee on for any visitors stopping by, and was always patching or making something for the grandkids. She was a member of the Arnett First Baptist Church, and was baptized soon after they were married.
Along with her husband, those preceding her in death were her father, Orval Ashpaugh; her mother, Louise Ashpaugh; brother, Clarence Ashpaugh; sister, Juanita Herron, and husband, C.W.; sister, Lola Boyd and husband Wendall; brother, Orval Ashpaugh, Jr. and wife Helen; sister, Carolyn Chamberlain and husband, Roy; sisters-in-law Anna Fay Ashpaugh and Joyce Ashpaugh; and, an infant sister, Joy.
She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Kelso, of Mooreland; her son, Jerry Johnson and his wife, Brenda, of Arnett; brother, Floyd Ashpaugh and wife, Phyllis, of Shattuck; brother, Gene Ashpaugh, of Higgins, Texas; sister, LeEtta Appel and husband, Harlan, of Shreveport, Louisiana; her precious grandchildren, Bobby Johnson, and wife, Lena; Mindy Griffith, and husband, Craig; Brice Johnson; Dusty Kelso, and wife, Sheila; Lacey Hailey, and husband, Nick; Krista Spruell, and husband, Hunter; great grandchildren, Cadee Griffith, Marcy Shay Griffith, Corbyn Griffith, Paisley Kelso, Brody Hailey, Grayson Hailey, Jaycie Spruell, Rowdy Spruell and Laney Spruell; many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
