William "Bill" Eugene Smith passed away on June 23, 2024.

Bill was born January 20, 1965, in Paola KS to John Smith and Betty Cain. His childhood was spent in Missouri and later the family moved to Mooreland where he attended High School. In 1988 Bill met and later married Angela Covalt, they share seven children together. He worked many years in the Oilfield with other jobs in between, there just wasn't anything he couldn't do. Later in life he met his soul mate, Amber Gratwohl and they share 3 daughters together. Bill was one of a kind and always the life of the party. He would lite up a room with his outgoing personality, funny jokes and contagious laugh. He will be dearly missed by so many. He loved his family so muchand any time spent with them was all he needed. He loved fishing, camping and working on vehicles.

Bill is survived by his 10 children, Devin Covalt, Derrick Smith, Lacie Smith, Autumn Anthem, Sladyn Covalt, Sterling Morgan, Hunter Gore, Gracie Gratwohl Smith, Audrey Gratwohl Smith and Emma Gratwohl Smith. 18 Grandchildren, whom he adored. His Mother Betty, Sisters, Chrystal Vineyard and Spouse, Kathy Smith, Victoria George and brother Bobby Smith. Many Nieces and nephews and numerous dear friends.

He is proceeded in death by his father John Smith, Brother Ronald Smith, Sister Susie Briggs, his grandparents and Nieces Shanda, Amanda, Ava, and Nephews Kelsey, and Cyrus.
