Winnona Beth White Randall was born January 3, 1923 on a farm near Cestos, Oklahoma to Calvin James and Arlo Calhoon White. She passed from this life at the age of 88 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Winnona grew up in the Cestos and Vici communities. She attended and graduated from the Richmond School.
On September 16, 1947, in Woodward, Oklahoma, Winnona was united in marriage to James Franklin "Frank" Randall. To this union four children were born, Donna Beth, James Allen, Kenneth Wayne and Brenda LaJean. As newlyweds Winnona and Frank lived in an apartment in Ft. Supply. They moved back to Vici living on a farm 4 miles north of Vici. In 1965 they moved to their home in Vici.
Winnona worked at the Vici Variety Store as a clerk as a young woman. She also worked at the school as a lunch secretary and assisted Frank with custodial work.
Winnona enjoyed gardening and especially loved cooking for her family and friends. She was famous for her fried chicken and cherry pies. She was always happiest when she was taking care of other people. As a young girl she loved horse back riding and herding cows.
On February 27, 1994 Winnona was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Vici, OK. As a member of the church she enjoyed mailing cards to other members for special occasions and helped with many funeral dinners. She was also very faithful to her Ladies Sunday School class.
Winnona is preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Randall; parents, Arlo and Calvin White; sister, Rita Madge Owens and an infant sister; brothers-in-law , Pauley Owens, Lloyd Randall and wife Nadine, Harvey Randall and wife Irene and sisters-in-law, Ruby Sparkman and husband Groundel, Stella Liston and husband Bob and Laura Mae Nelson and husband Butch.
She is survived by children, Donna Sumpter and husband Darell of Pampa,TX , James Randall and wife Connie of Vici, OK, Kenneth Randall and wife Carrie of Vici, OK and Brenda Culp and husband Dennis of Woodward, OK; eleven grandchildren, Jeffery Sumpter and wife Wendy, Chris Sumpter and wife Carolyn, Ladonna Denslow and husband Alan, Wade Randall and wife Abbi, Jaymi Boatman and husband Daniel, Michele & Catrina Randall, Tony McHendry, Jason Culp, Andrew Culp and wife Angie and Laura Culp; twelve great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Floyd B. Randall of Vici, OK; one cousin, E.E. Gift of Rockport, IL; numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.
