Woodward J. Brooks, Jr., better known and referred to as Woody was born on December 23, 1953. He has resided in Taloga since 2010. He is survived by his five children: Hannah Brooks, Alyson Elliott and husband Mark, Nolan Brooks and wife Abigail, Cody Brooks, and Jenna Brooks. Woody also has five grandchildren, Kaden, Kynadee, Eli, Ellie Mae and Charlotte Jo, who meant everything to him. He is greatly missed, but is being reunited with his wife and best friend Kyle Patrice Brooks. Woody will always be an amazing father, husband, gramps, son, brother, uncle, neighbor, and friend forever in our hearts, minds, and souls.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the First Christian Church of Taloga with Pastor Curtis Cox presiding.
